This is so good Lisa. When I am on the receiving end (of someone over reacting or being irrational in the moment) I remind myself this is the “distorted form” of that person. And it reminds me how to govern myself in those moments.
It’s certainly challenging at times but with more practice it gets easier. And then it becomes second nature to us.
